  2. Place The Kiosk and Power It On

    1. Place the kiosk at the desired location

    2. Unlock the lower compartment and remove the panel.

    3. A computer and electrical power strip are in the lower compartment.

    4. Connect an ethernet cable (not provided) to the computer, thread it through
the opening that the AC power cord comes out and plug it onto a nearby
data port for an internet connection.

    5. Plug the AC power cord into a nearby outlet. Be sure cord is out of the way
and does not present a tripping hazard.

    6. The unit should power-up at this point. If not, the access panel will need to
be opened and the computer power button activated inside the kiosk.

    7. After the computer starts up, Windows will load, and the kiosk menu will
appear if a success connection is made to the internet.

    1. Unlock the rear door of the kiosk with keys.

    2. Locate the printer roll from the kiosk cabinet and install into the printer as shown in Figure 2 below.

      1. The monitor screen can be cleaned with a mild soapy solution applied with
        a damp cloth.
      2. DO NOT use strong solvents (ammonia for example) to avoid damaging the
        screen.
      3. DO NOT use a paper-based cloth (paper towel for example) to avoid
        scratching the screen.
      4. DO NOT use a very wet (saturated) cloth to avoid getting liquid seeping into
        the internal monitor components.
      5. DO NOT apply water directly to monitor to avoid getting liquid seeping into
        the internal monitor components.
      6. Apply cleaning solution to cloth.
      7. Clean perimeter of monitor first and work towards the center. Be sure to
remove all debris at the center.
      8. Press lightly against the monitor surface to avoid cracking the screen or
        breaking internal components.

    2. Cleaning The Kiosk Cabinet (only as needed)
      1. The kiosk cabinet can be wiped down with a mild soapy solution applied
        with a damp cloth.
      2. DO NOT use strong solvents (ammonia for example) to avoid damaging
        printed surfaces.
      3. DO NOT use a paper-based cloth (paper towel for example) to avoid
        scratching printed surfaces.
