Place Customers on Hold is designed to bring greater flexibility and control to the customer service experience, this feature allows agents to pause active service sessions—without disrupting the overall flow of the queue.
To use this feature follow the steps below:
- Click to open your Queue
- Select your Location and the Queue View enabled for Place Customers On Hold
- Call a Customer
- Begin Service
- You will now see a Hold button. Click Hold
- Once a ticket is placed on hold, other functions will be disabled and you may call a new ticket to serve
- Once the client is ready to be served, click Resume
- Continue serving and End when finished
