Adding a New User

  1. Navigate to the Manage Tab

    • From the homepage, click on the Manage tab.

  2. Access the Permissions Section then open the Users Menu

    • On the left-side panel, select Permissions.
    • Choose Users from the left-side panel or click the central icon labeled Users.

  3. Click "Add New User"

    • Locate and click the Add New User button at the top-right corner of the screen.

  4. Fill Out User Details

    • On the new user creation screen, provide the following information:
      • First Name and Last Name
      • Display Name
      • Photo
      • Login Email and Password (required)
        • NOTE: If you are currently logged in via SSO, the password field is not required. New users will be automatically configured with SSO.
      • Location Assignment
      • Email Address for Alerts
      • Phone Number
      • Role (select an appropriate role for the user)

        Optional Settings

        • Inactive Status: You can mark a user as inactive if they will be on a hiatus. This temporarily disables their account without deleting it.
        • Synced with automated user feed: Marks the user to have their information/assignments synced along with the automated user feed.
        • Do not allow location removals on automated user feed: Ensures the automated user feed does not update this user's location assignments.
        • Password Change Requirement: Enable the option for the user to change their password upon first login. This allows you to set a generic initial password and ensures the user creates their own secure password.user details.png
  5. Advanced Settings

    • Under the Advanced Settings section, you can configure queue view overrides. This feature allows you to:
      • Select a queue view template.
      • Assign a custom set of queues.
    • By default, queue views are assigned based on the user’s role unless overridden here.

  6. Save the User

    • After completing the configuration, click the Save button to finalize the new user’s setup.
