Welcome to the Qtrac Knowledge Base! This article is designed to help you set up new location hours with a schedules template.

Adding a New Schedules Template

  1. Navigate to the Schedules page by clicking Manage > Settings > Schedules.

  2. Create a new schedules template.
    1. Click on Add New Template.
    2. Select Location Schedule as the schedule type.
    3. Click Create.
  3. Configure your new schedule template.
    1. Give your new template a descriptive name select the desired workflow.

    2. Open the Location Schedule section and select the Service Occurrence Type.

      • Daily - Define times for Sunday, Monday-Friday, and Saturday. This option is useful when Monday-Friday share the same schedule.
      • During Date Range - Select a specific range of dates for the location hours.
      • On Custom Date(s) - Set hours for a single, custom date.
      • Weekly - Define hours for each individual day of the week. This option is ideal when location hours vary from day to day.
    3. With your occurrence selected, click on the toggle to configure the hours for the selected day(s) if you are using Daily or Weekly.

    4. Enter the location's hours chronologically by either typing directly into the time field or clicking on the clock to open the time selector.

    5. Once you've entered the time range, click +Add hours to the day(s). Repeat for any additional timeframes/days.

    6. Once all your timeframes have been created, click on the "x" to close the configurator and see a summary of the configured hours. Click on the pencil icon to make any changes.

    7. Once all the locations hours are configured to your specifications, click Save to save the template.

  4. Assign the schedule template to your location.
    1. Navigate to the Locations page by clicking Manage > Settings > Locations.

    2. Identify the location you'd like to apply the new schedule to. Hover over the 3 dots and select Edit.

    3. Scroll down to the Schedules section and click on the header to open the config menu.

    4. Select your newly created schedule template from Locations Schedule dropdown and click Save to apply changes.
