Standard Holidays provide organizations with a consistent and efficient way to manage non-working days across locations and services. By defining holidays in advance, organizations can ensure accurate schedules, prevent unintended service availability, and maintain clear expectations for both staff and customers.

Standard Holidays work in conjunction with Location Schedules and Service Hours to automatically adjust availability on designated dates, reducing the need for manual updates and minimizing operational errors.

Once you confirm that you do have access to this settings, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to https://app.qtrac.com/home

Step 2: Click "Manage" in the top-right corner.

Step 3: Click "Schedules" in the left pane.

Step 4: Hover over the three dots next to the schedule where you want to add holidays, then click "Edit" or click "Add new Template".

Step 5: Click "Standard Holidays" to expand the section.

Step 6: Click "Select Country…" to open the dropdown menu.

Note: Qtrac uses the Google API to pull these dates, so please review them carefully before publishing.
Also please know that the available countries in the dropdown depend on the individual Location Addresses. For example if this is an International company with locations in Jamaica, US and Canada, then you will see 3 different options for Standard Holidays. One for each country.

Step 7: From the dropdown, select the country and year for which you want to add holidays. The standard holidays will be added automatically. If all holidays are correct and meet your requirements, skip to Step 10.

Step 8: If you need to make changes, click the pencil icon next to the holiday you want to edit. To remove a holiday, click the delete icon.

Step 9: To apply hours to all services, keep the All Services option checked, enter the opening and closing times (you can manually type the time or click the clock icon to select it), then click “+ Add hours.” If you want to apply hours to specific services only, uncheck All Services and select the desired services from the dropdown before clicking “+ Add hours.”

Step 11: Once all configurations are complete, click "Publish", then select "Publish to assigned locations".
