How to Edit an Existing Service Guide

Thank you for visiting our Qtrac Knowledge Base library. We hope the below article will assist you. Based on your inquiry, it looks like you are trying to edit an existing Service Guide. In order to accomplish this, you will need the following permissions:

Admin Role with access to Workflow settings and editing permissions.

Once you confirm that you do have access to these settings, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Qtrac Admin Portal.
  2. In the left navigation menu, click Workflow, then select Service Guides.
  3. Locate the guide you want to update. Use the Find service guides… search bar or the Organize by dropdown to find it quickly.
  4. Click View details on the card, or click the (three-dot) menu and select Edit.
  5. On the edit page, update any of the following as needed:
    • Service Guide Name — rename the guide
    • Service Guide Description — update the description
    • To update Connected Services or Advanced Rules, expand that section and add or remove connections.
    • To add, edit, reorder, or remove steps, use the Steps section and the Edit Step panel on the right. See the individual step articles for full details on each action.
  6. Click Save Changes. Updates take effect immediately for new visits. Visits already in progress continue with the previous version of the guide.
