Thank you for visiting our Qtrac Knowledge Base library. We hope the below article will assist you. Based on your inquiry, it looks like you are trying to connect services or Advanced Rules to a Service Guide. In order to accomplish this, you will need the following permissions:
Admin Role with access to Workflow and Services settings and editing permissions.
Once you confirm that you do have access to these settings, please follow these steps:
- Log in to the Qtrac Admin Portal.
- In the left navigation menu, click Workflow, then select Service Guides.
- Find the Service Guide you want to configure and click View details, or click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu on the card and select Edit.
- On the edit page, scroll to the Connected Services section and expand it by clicking on it.
- Click Add Service and select one or more services from the dropdown. The Service Guide will automatically appear on the associate dashboard whenever a visit matches one of these services.

If you do not see any already Connected Rules it means that there is no Advanced Rule created that is directing to your Service Guide. If you want to add additional Advanced Rules that has to be done in the Advanced Rule Section and pointing to your Service Guide Name.
Note: This is the real power of Service Guides. It can be narrowed down as an example to a specific General, or Service Question, to a specific Service, Location, to a specific answer or to even time sensitive subjects. For example. If customer has selected Service 2 and Wait time is longer than 30 minutes, Display Service Guide 1.
- Repeat to add as many services or rules as needed.
- Click Save Changes. The connections take effect immediately for new visits.
Note: A Service Guide with no Connected Services will not appear on the associate dashboard. Always connect at least one service or rule before putting the guide into use.
