Thank you for visiting our Qtrac Knowledge Base library. We hope the below article will assist you. Based on your inquiry, it looks like you are trying to add steps to a Service Guide. In order to accomplish this, you will need the following permissions:
Admin Role with access to Workflow settings and editing permissions.
Once you confirm that you do have access to these settings, please follow these steps:
- Log in to the Qtrac Admin Portal.
- In the left navigation menu, click Workflow, then select Service Guides.
- Open the Service Guide that contains the step you want to remove (click View details or ⋮ > Edit).
- On the edit page, locate the Steps section and click Add Step.
- Once clicked dropdown will appear that will have all existing Steps that are used in the workflow, even if they do not belong to this Service Guide. Or you can choose to select a New Step:
- If you select New Step in the Step Name field, enter a short action label. This is what the associate sees as the step title on their dashboard during a visit (e.g., "Greet customer", "KYC capture", "Collect loan details").
- In the Description field, add any instructions or context the associate needs when completing this step.
- If this step must be completed before the visit can be closed, tick This step is required.
- Click Save Changes. The step is added to the guide and will appear as a numbered step on the associate dashboard for any matching visit.
- Repeat steps 4–8 for each additional step. Steps display in the order they are created.
