We hope the below article will assist you. Based on your questions, it looks like you are trying to send email notification to the users you are sharing the report with.
Before we explain it we would like to tell you the scenarios of when this might be needed.
Sometimes you want to update the report and inform all users that are already having access to the report about the latest change or update or even sometimes you would want to add additional user that was not being part of the initial share for the report etc.
With our sharing capability for Insights this is easily doable and fully explained in the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Insights Tab
- Upon logging in, you will arrive at the home screen.

Click on the Insights tab located at the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Access the Share Menu
- From the file's options menu (three dots), select Share. This opens the sharing dialog where you can invite users and configure their access permissions.
3. Select the User
- Click in the recipient field and search for the user you want to share the file with. Select the appropriate user from the list of available users to grant them access to the document.
4. Assign Permissions
- Choose the appropriate permission level for the selected user.
5. Add an Email Message
- If you want to provide additional context, enter a message in the Email Message field. This message will be included in the notification email sent to the recipient and can contain instructions or other relevant information.
6. Send the Invitation
- After verifying the selected user, assigned permissions, and optional email message, click Send to share the file and email notification will be sent.
