Custom Tabs let you open saved Queue View reports directly inside a Queue View. These tabs provide quick access to report data such as future bookings, summaries, and charts.
Permissions required:
N/A
Important: Custom Tabs follow the user’s existing permissions. Users will only see data they are authorized to access, even if the original report includes other locations or broader data.
Open a Custom Tab
Open the Queue View that has Custom Tabs.
Select the Custom Tab tab you want to view.
Review the report information displayed in that tab.
Each tab loads the saved version of the report associated with that Custom Tab.
What you can do
With Custom Tabs, you can:
View saved report output
Review future bookings details
View charts and dashboard-style reports
Access multiple saved reports from one Queue View
What you cannot do directly in Queue View
You cannot fully change report settings from within the Custom Tab.
This includes changes to:
Time frame
Selected fields
Criteria
Saved report filters
To make changes, the report must be updated in the original instance and saved again.
Understand what data you see
The data visible in a Custom Tab depends on your user permissions.
If your account only has access to a specific location, you will only see data for that location, even if the original report was built with broader visibility.
Example:
A user with New York-only access will only see New York results in the Custom Tab.
Viewing additional tabs
If there are more tabs than can fit in the visible area, look for a plus (+) indicator. This shows there are additional tabs available.
Select the additional tab from the overflow area to open it.
Best practices for users
Use Custom Tabs for quick report review
Treat the report as a saved view, not a live editable report builder
Contact your administrator if a report needs different filters or date ranges
Confirm your permissions if expected data does not appear
