New Feature Highlight: Tooltips & Descriptions for Questions in Qtrac

We’re excited to announce a helpful new addition to the Qtrac platform: Tooltips and Descriptions — designed to give your team more ways to guide users through complex questions and improve clarity in both kiosk, mobile, and booking experiences.

What Are Tooltips and Descriptions?

This new feature allows agents and administrators to add context, guidance, and clarification to any question within the General or Service question categories in Qtrac.

  • Descriptions are optional text fields that appear directly beneath a question. They are ideal for explaining complex terms, outlining additional instructions, or providing context that can help the customer understand how to answer correctly.

  • Tooltips are small clickable icons next to the question label. When clicked (or tapped), a pop-up appears containing helpful tips or additional information. This keeps the interface clean while offering deeper guidance when needed.

Customize the Experience

You’re in full control of how these elements appear:

  • 🎨 Change text style (size, weight, or color) to emphasize key information

  • 📐 Adjust alignment to ensure a clean, intuitive layout

  • ✍️ Tailor the content for specific questions to reduce confusion and improve data quality
