The HTTP Archive format or HAR is a type of file that tracks all interactions between a web browser and a website.
Our support team may request a HAR file to troubleshoot certain issues. This file helps them analyze and replicate the errors you experience on your end.
Note: It’s crucial to generate the HAR file while reproducing the issue. That way, any related errors will be registered in the file logs. Before you proceed, make sure you have the latest version of your browser. HAR files may not work properly on outdated browsers.
How to generate a HAR file for Chrome
Follow these steps to generate HAR files for Chrome:
- Open your browser and navigate to the page where you encountered the issue in question.
- Click on the more "(⋮)" menu, then More Tools > Developer Tools.
- Next, select the "Network" tab.
- Find the red Record button at the upper left corner of the tab and make sure it's red. If it's gray, click on it to start recording.
- Check the "Preserve log" box.
- Click the "Clear" button to clear out any existing logs.

- Navigate to the Pipedrive page where you encountered the issue in question and reproduce it.
- Once reproduced, click on "⬇️" Export HAR to save the file.
How to generate a HAR file for Firefox
Follow these steps to generate HAR files for Mozilla Firefox:
- Open your browser and navigate to the page where you encountered the issue in question.
- Click on the more "(≡)" menu, then More tools > Web Developer Tools
- The Developer Tools panel will open as a docked panel at the bottom of the page. Click on the "Network" tab.
- The log initiates auto-recording as you perform actions in the browser. Navigate to the Pipedrive page where you encountered the issue and reproduce it.
- Once reproduced, click on the gear icon ⚙️ then “Save All As HAR” – that’s how you create a HAR file for Firefox.
How to generate a HAR file for Microsoft Edge
Follow these steps to generate HAR files for Microsoft Edge:
- Open your browser and navigate to the page where the issue occurs.
- Click on the more "(...)" menu, then Tools > Developer > Developer Tools.

- Next, select the "Network" tab.

- Navigate to the Pipedrive page where you encountered the issue in question and reproduce it.
- Once reproduced, click on "⬇️" "Export HAR..." to save the file.
