How to Use Expired and Abandoned Pages for Mobile Interface

This article explains how customers experience the Expired and Abandoned pages in Qtrac. These pages help communicate when a customer is no longer in the queue, improving clarity and enhancing the overall customer experience.

 

Viewing the Expired Page

  1. Add a Ticket to the Queue

    • From the mobile interface, add your ticket to join the queue.

  2. Trigger End of Day

    • As an Associate, either click Manual End of Day or allow the Automated End of Day to run, depending on your configuration.

  3. View the Expired Page

    • After End of Day is completed, the customer’s mobile screen will automatically update to the Expired page.

Viewing the Abandoned Page

  1. Add a Ticket to the Queue

    • From the mobile interface, add your ticket to the queue.

  2. Leave the Line or Remove the Ticket

    • The customer may tap Leave Line on their mobile device.
    • Alternatively, an Associate can select the ticket in the queue and click Remove.

  3. View the Abandoned Page

    • Once the ticket is removed from the queue, the customer’s mobile device will display the configured Abandoned page.

By following these steps, your customers will clearly understand when they are no longer in the queue, whether through expiration or abandonment.
